F1 Teams Announce Car Launch dates for the 2022 Season
January 14, 2022 - As we near winter testing in Barcelona and Bahrain in the early weeks of March, the month of February will feature F1 teams revealing and launching the cars their drivers will have the honor of driving throughout the season. With the 2022 season stepping forth a new era to Formula 1 history, the upcoming season will feature a new car design. Digital mock ups have been made with the 2021 car designs as well.
Out of the 10 teams racing next season only 4 have announced their car launch date. These teams are (in order of launch date) Aston Martin, McLaren, Ferrari, Mercedes. Here is what is known to the public at the moment.

The first of 10 teams, UK based team, Aston Martin have announced their car launch date for the team’s 2022 Formula 1 car– the AMR22.
The team will keep their driver lineup from 2021 and driving the car will be Canadian driver, Lance Stroll, and former 4-time world champion Sebastian Vettel. The car will be launched on February 10, to be streamed online from Aston Martin's Gaydon headquarters.

Just after the launch of Aston Martin is another British team, McLaren, launching their 2022 Formula 1 car–the MCL36.
Australian driver, Daniel Ricciardo ,and British driver, Lando Norris will pilot the Mclaren car in the upcoming season as the team finished 4th in last year’s constructors championship looking to gain places with the new car this year.
Launching on February 11, not only will the company’s F1 car be launched, but the team have teased on social media that their 3 other operations will be present in the launch as well; these being their Extreme E, IndyCar, and Esports squads.

It’s time to add another event on Valentine’s day as Alpha Tauri is set to launch their 2022 Car the AT03. Piloted by Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda the team is the fifth to announce their car release date as we emerge into the new Formula 1 era.
The Redbull-owned team will be one of the two first to feature Redbull Powertrain’s power unit after Honda announced their departure from the sport at the end of 2021.
Italian team, Ferrari will reveal the car that Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will get the honor for driving in this season’s 2022 F1 World Championship on February 17.
Ferrari have yet to announce their name of their 2022 car but for now, we look forward to the iconic team’s launch mid february.

The silver arrows return to the grid as eight-time constructor’s champions. The British team have revealed the date for their 2022 Formula 1 car–the W13– that is set to see Lewis Hamilton and George Russell as team mates for the first time.
Launching the car on February 18 in an online event live from Silverstone, there are a lot instore for the team this season as they seek to extend their record with a ninth consecutive title especially with the new car regulations implaced. Additionally, British driver George Russell will be making his debut with the team as former Mercedes driver Valteri Bottas has departed to Alfa Romeo this season. Seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton will also be seeking a record of his eighth driver’s championship title this year after losing it to Dutch driver Max Verstappen in 2021.

Teams Alpine, Alfa Romeo, Redbull, Williams, and Haas have yet to announce their car launch dates in the coming days leading up to the Bahrain Grand Prix in March 18, 2022. For now, we sit back as February 10 comes near for the first car launch of the season.
